THE EXECUTIVE:

 

The DCI-Zimbabwe  is composed of an Executive Board,that has the following structure ,Chairperson,Vice Chairperson,Secretary,Vice Secretary,Treasurer and 3 none executive board members , this is the organisation â€™s governing authority.

The board is elected once after every 4  years, and for one to be a board member they have to have passion for children's safety, have a relavant skill to support the organisation and have been cleared by police.

COUNTRY DIRECTOR 

 

DCI - Zimbabwe has a country director who is the chief executive officer for its country activities . The country director works with a team of child rights defenders both in and out of his/her office and  is also the presiding officer at all DCI-Zimbabwe board elections and also sits as an ex officio of the board

The Child Rights Defenders are a  team  of Professionals  with various skills on child rights advocacy , who act as the focal point for the DCI movement and its benneficiaries at the national level.

The DCI -Zimbabwe also  undertakes  the following ,Training on child rights  advocacy, research, information dissemination and networking as a means of bringing pressing matters on child rights violations to the international agenda –
